Sublimation Printing for Full-Color Graphics That Won't Crack, Peel or Fade
BlackForgeX runs dye sublimation printing for sportswear, activewear and technical apparel brands that need edge-to-edge, full-color graphics permanently bonded into the fabric — not sitting on top of it.
Graphics That Become Part of the Fabric, Not a Layer on It
BlackForgeX manufactures sportswear, activewear, hoodies and technical apparel alongside our sublimation printing service — so whether you need a single all-over print or a fully manufactured, sublimated garment, the same team handles both without handing your order off to a separate print vendor.

A Sublimation Printer Backed by Full Manufacturing Capability
We built our sublimation printing capability as part of a complete apparel manufacturing suite — not as a standalone print shop bolted onto a general factory. That means fabric sourcing, cutting, sublimation printing and construction all happen under one production timeline, so you're not coordinating separately with a printer and a garment maker for one product.
Precision Sublimation for Brands That Can't Compromise on Color
Producing consistent, vibrant sublimation prints takes calibrated equipment and real process control — not every printer that offers sublimation can actually hold color accuracy across a full production run. We test every design against your target fabric before committing to bulk printing.

We print on cut panels before they're sewn together, which produces a cleaner, more premium result than printing on a finished blank garment — the design sits correctly across seams instead of getting distorted by them.

Blank Garment Sublimation for Fast, Cost-Effective Runs
For simpler graphics or tighter budgets, printing directly on a pre-made blank garment is a faster, more economical route — with the trade-off that print placement is constrained by the garment's existing seams and construction.

How Dye Sublimation Actually Gets a Design Into the Fabric
Sublimation ink is applied to transfer paper, then bonded to the garment using a heat press set to a precise time, temperature and pressure combination. Under heat, the ink converts directly from solid to gas and embeds itself into the fibers of the fabric — it doesn't sit on the surface the way a screen print or heat transfer does.
This process only works reliably on 100% polyester fabric or polyester-coated surfaces — it's why sublimation is the standard choice for performance sportswear and moisture-wicking technical apparel, which are typically polyester-based already.
Why Sublimated Graphics Outlast Standard Printed Designs
Because the ink bonds into the fabric itself instead of forming a layer on top, sublimated designs don't crack, peel or fade the way a surface-level print can after repeated washing. The print becomes part of the fabric's structure, which is why it holds detail and color for the life of the garment.
Sublimation also produces zero water waste and minimal material waste compared to some traditional printing methods, which matters increasingly to brands under pressure to reduce their environmental footprint without compromising print quality.
What to Actually Check Before Choosing a Sublimation Manufacturer
Not every manufacturer offering "sublimation printing" has equipment capable of transferring detailed, full-color designs cleanly onto your specific fabric. Before committing to a supplier, confirm they can show you a sample on your actual target material, not a generic swatch.
At BlackForgeX, every sublimation order is printed and tested on your specified fabric before bulk production, and we combine sublimation with our own cut-and-sew manufacturing — so color accuracy, fabric quality and construction are managed by one accountable team, not split across vendors.
Sublimation Printing Questions, Answered Directly
Sublimation requires 100% polyester or polyester-coated fabric. It does not work reliably on cotton or cotton blends — for those, screen printing or heat transfer is a better fit.
Cut-and-sew sublimation prints on fabric panels before assembly, giving a cleaner result across seams. Blank garment sublimation prints on a finished garment, which is faster and more cost-effective but limited by existing seam placement.
No — sublimation requires a light or white base fabric, since the ink is transparent and relies on the fabric's base color showing through.
Because the ink bonds into the fabric itself rather than sitting on the surface, sublimated prints generally resist cracking, peeling and fading better than surface-level prints over repeated washing.
Yes — sublimation printing is one part of our full manufacturing capability, which includes fabric sourcing, cutting, sewing and finishing under the same production timeline.
MOQs depend on the garment type and whether it's cut-and-sew or blank garment sublimation. Share your target product and quantity and we'll confirm exact minimums.
